To put this application through its paces, you first have to get it off the web and onto your computer. This is when you will like that the download weighs in at some 2.5Mb. At such a lightweight download size, it should take but a moment for it to complete.

Once the download completes, it is time to install the application. You will like that the installation process is straightforward and goes along smoothly and rapidly. You will also like that Mosaic Creator works with just about any version of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system.

Last but not least, you will like what this application can do. As the name so adequately points out, Mosaic Creator allows you to, well, create mosaics. The application takes a bunch of small images, bundles them together and comes up with a larger picture that incorporates the smaller ones. From a distance, you see the large image – when you zoom in, you see all the small images that make up the large image.

There is one small thing you may not like: Mosaic Creator is not freeware, so you cannot use it free of charge for as long as you want. You can use the application free of charge, but only during a trial period of 14 days. During this trial period you’ll be able to use Mosaic Creator free of charge, but you’ll have to contend with a few limitations – like the fact that you have no pattern editor, or the fact that the application puts a watermark on your creation. Once the trial period is over you’ll have to decide if you want to get Mosaic Creator Lite or Mosaic Creator Professional (recommended for commercial use).
